Steps

  1. On the sign-in page press Forgot your password?
  2. Enter your account Email and press Send reset link. The page then says Check your email and reminds you to look in the spam folder. For safety it says the same whether or not an account exists for that address.
  3. Open the email and follow the link. The page Choose a new password asks for a New password (10 to 200 characters) and Confirm new password.
  4. If your account has two-factor sign-in on, a Two-factor code field appears: enter the code from your authenticator app, or one of your recovery codes.
  5. Press Set new password. The page says Password changed and sends you to sign in.

Changing the password signs you out everywhere, including any device that was still signed in.

The reset link works for 60 minutes and can be used once. If it has expired, the page says This reset link is invalid or has expired. Request a new one. Press Request a new link.

Common problems

  • No email arrives. Check the spam folder, and make sure you typed the address you sign in with (your sign-in email can differ from your invoice email).
  • You use two-factor and have lost the phone and the codes. The reset link alone cannot get you in. See Lost your two-factor device?.
  • You still know your password and just want a new one. Do it from Settings → Security → Password → Change instead. See Change your password or sign-in email.
