Pay an invoice by bank transfer

Press Bank transfer on the invoice, quote the reference it gives you, send the money, then tell us you have sent it. We confirm usually within one business day.

Bank transfer is how invoices are paid at the moment. bKash, cards and other online methods are not available yet; when one is, it appears as its own button on the invoice. Every invoice is paid on its own, with its own reference.

Our bank details are not published on this website. You see them on the invoice page when you are signed in, and in the email that gives you your reference.

Steps

  1. Open the invoice. From Billing → Invoices press its row, or follow the link in the email headed New invoice … — ৳… due … (the PDF is attached to that email).
  2. Press the Bank transfer button. A block of instructions appears, beginning Transfer BDT … to: followed by Bank, Account name, Account number and, where we have set them, Branch, Routing number and SWIFT. Below the button, the card Paying by bank transfer shows the same bank details.
  3. Note the line IMPORTANT: quote reference "BT-…" on the transfer so we can match it to your payment. That reference is the one thing that lets us match your money to this invoice. Write it in the transfer's reference, remarks or purpose field. The reference stays the same if you press the button again later.
  4. Send the exact amount shown, from your bank's app, internet banking or a branch. We also email you the same instructions, headed How to pay invoice … by bank transfer — reference …, so you have them on your phone at the bank.
  5. Back on the invoice, under the instructions, fill in Bank transaction reference (the reference your bank shows for the transfer) and optionally Day you paid (optional), then press I have sent the transfer. The page confirms: "Thank you. We will look for your transfer and mark the invoice paid when it arrives. That can take up to one working day."

If you closed the page before step 5, open the invoice again and press Bank transfer; the same reference and the form come back.

What happens next

  • A person on our team matches the money on our bank statement to your invoice and marks it paid, usually within one business day of the money arriving. Transfers sent in the evening, on Friday or Saturday, or on a bank holiday arrive later.
  • You get an email headed Payment received — ৳…, and the invoice shows a Payment receipt with the date and reference.
  • A new service is then set up; a renewal is extended; a suspended service for non-payment comes back automatically within minutes.

Common problems

  • The invoice shows "No online payment method is available for this invoice. Please contact us to arrange payment." Bank transfer is not offered for this invoice (for example, it is not in Taka). Open a ticket.
  • You forgot the reference. Press I have sent the transfer anyway, with your bank's transaction reference, and open a ticket telling us the amount, date and the account you sent from. Matching takes longer without the reference.
  • You sent one transfer for two invoices. We can record one bank reference against one invoice only. Tell us in a ticket; we will settle one invoice from it and advise on the rest. Next time, send one transfer per invoice.
  • You sent too much or too little. Tell us in a ticket. A short payment is recorded as a part payment and the invoice stays open for the rest; a surplus is handled by our team.
  • You have store credit. You can spend it on the invoice first: Pay ৳… with store credit or Apply ৳… store credit; the rest is paid by transfer. See Store credit.
  • It is a renewal and the due date is close. The service is not suspended until 7 days after the due date; see When you are billed.
