Placed an order by mistake, or changed your mind before paying? Nothing is charged until an invoice is paid, so you can simply withdraw it.
Steps
- Open the invoice (Billing → Invoices, or the link in the New invoice email).
- Press Cancel this order. The page asks: "Cancel this order? The invoice is withdrawn and cannot be paid afterwards; any store credit put towards it goes back to your balance."
- Press Yes, cancel the order (or Keep it).
The invoice becomes void and moves to Cancelled invoices on the Billing page ("withdrawn before payment — nothing was charged"). The service row disappears from All services.
When the button is not there
Cancel this order appears only while the invoice is open and it is the order's own first invoice. It does not appear on a renewal invoice: to stop a renewal, turn off auto-renew on the service instead (see Auto-renew, and how to cancel a service), which also cancels any unpaid renewal invoice.
If you do nothing
An unpaid first invoice is never chased and never suspends anything; it simply stays open. We may ask you to clear it if you place several unpaid orders within a day ("You have several unpaid orders from the last 24 hours. Pay or cancel one under Billing before placing another.").
Already paid?
If the service has not been set up yet, the invoice offers Cancel and refund instead. See Refunds and cancellation explained.
