Optional emails

Open Settings → Preferences → Emails you get. Tick or untick:

  • New services and domains are ready
  • Support ticket replies
  • Live chat replies while you are away
  • Maintenance notices
  • Announcements and product news

Every one of these emails also has an unsubscribe link that lands on this page.

Always sent

The page lists what cannot be switched off: invoices, receipts and payment reminders; renewal and domain-expiry warnings; sign-in, password and verification emails; login details for a new service; and notices about a service being suspended or ending. They are the ones that cost money to miss.

Where emails go

  • Invoices and account notices go to your Invoice email (Settings → Profile → Billing contact), which can differ from your sign-in email. Security emails go to your sign-in email.
  • Billing contacts under Settings → Contacts also receive invoices and payment reminders; technical contacts receive service notices. See Named contacts.

SMS and WhatsApp

Under Notice channels tick SMS and/or WhatsApp in addition to Email (at least one must stay on). Both need a verified phone number; see Add a phone number. Because WhatsApp only delivers our messages for 24 hours after you last wrote to us on it, notices sent by WhatsApp are emailed as well.

In the client area

The bell in the top bar shows your latest notifications; View all notifications → opens the full list with the tabs All, Billing, Services & domains, Support and Account & security (the latest 50). Announcements in the sidebar holds our team's notices: see Announcements, maintenance and the status page.
